Let's Play - Decktamer - Tutorial Enabled - Full Gameplay - Roguelike Deck Building
Let's Play Decktamer. Gameplay. Tutorial Enabled.
In this Let's Play video, you will see me play for the first time Decktamer (Steam Next Fest). This is a Roguelike adventure RPG Deck Builder with monster taming mechanics. The adventure is presented in the form of a diary / journey similar to a choose your own adventure book. You are a Tamer and have decided to go on a journey into depths of the abyss. As you encounter events, you're given the narration and then some choices that you must make. Battles Encounters forces you to fight. Your tamed monsters are represented as cards. You build your deck based on what Monsters you encounter and trying to tame them when they reach low health (assuming you have the food to tame them). Your monster's health persist and carry over from battle to battle. You gain food (spoils) from winning each battle and can then be used to heal your monsters during your next battle or used to tame new monsters to add to your deck. This game reminds me a lot of "Pokemon", "Digimon Tamers", and "Dragon Eclipse". I enjoyed playing this game and highly recommend it.
