Let's Play Descent: Freespace - The Great War #1 - Training Missions & Eve of Destruction
1I know I say this a lot, but.. well, here's an LP that's been a long time coming! No joke, I've planned on playing this for literally years, initially holding off until I reached a certain number of subscribers (I think around 700-800?) since I THINK that was how many I had when I LP'd it on my old channel.. just.. to try to bring back some of what was lost, y'know? Needless to say I ended up delaying and not LPing it for a while, but now it's finally time!
So, despite its name, this game actually isn't part of the Descent series canonically, and is its own thing entirely. It focuses on the galactic war between Terrans and Vasudans, which inevitably leads into something far worse for both parties. As our story begins, we undergo training, and then defend the Orff from Vasudan attacks... meanwhile I muse about my initial playthrough of the game long, long ago. xD Anyways, I really hope y'all enjoy this series!
