Let's Play Donkey Kong Country 2 102% Part 1 (old)
78Donkey Kong Country 2 is the absolutely awesome sequel to a game that was already incredible. DKC2 takes everything that made the original Donkey Kong Country great and improves on them like any true sequel should with more levels, items, secrets, characters, music tracks, and other things!
The story this time is that DK gets kidnapped, so it's up to Diddy Kong and his girlfriend Dixie Kong to save him! K. Rool returns as a Kaptain, and he has a whole bunch of new pirate Kremlings who will try to get in our way! Overall things are going to be much more difficult this time around, as not only are the enemies in this game very tough, but some of the secrets are so ridiculously well hidden that I'm honestly not sure how I ever found them as a kid. I hope that you like invisible items and walls that appear to be solid but actually aren't, because Donkey Kong Country 2 is absolutely full of those things!
Also all of your favorite Kong family members return in this game (well Candy Kong doesn't come back, but I'd hardly consider her anyone's favourite). Cranky is of course still blabbering all of his hilarious fourth wall breaking jokes, while Funky continues to help us travel from world to world. We also meet Wrinkly and Swanky Kong in this game, and they should be familiar faces to anyone who watched my last LP!
I used to not be able to decide whether or not I liked Donkey Kong Country 2 or Donkey Kong Country 3 more, although after Let's Playing both of them I think that DKC2 takes the cake for me. DKC3 has a really nice overworld and lot's of character interaction, although overall I think that two's level design and music are just a little bit better. Plus as crazy as some of the secrets are, I can't deny that there is an absolutely awesome feeling of accomplishment once you finally find one! You won't be hearing any complaints about easy DK Coins in this Let's Play. :P
