Let's Play Dub Dash! Fast paced, rhythm-based gameplay in a style of a 3D Geometry Dash, Dub Dash RAGE begins now!

If dashing to dubstep is your thing, then Dub Dash is for you! The first level is Massive Dance! Take control on a spaceship that transforms into a wheel in order to get through the tight squeezes of the puzzle. If you thought geometry was deadly before, hook up your headphones and strap yourself in for the challenge and addiction of Dub Dash. Dub Dash gives you a fish eye view of the world as you roll along to avoid obstacles in your path. The world of Dub Dash has a life of it's own as every color of the rainbow strobes and glows to the beat of the music. The environment rolls along with you as you progress through the deadly shapes. No shape is safe. Triangles and squares will quickly dash your dreams of completing a level leaving you with no option but to restart from the beginning. Did anyone say rage?!

Dub Dash keeps track of your attempts so you know just how much you fail. But like games of a similar nature, Dub Dash offers you a practice mode where you get checkpoints along the way. Being the boss I am, you'll notice I didn't try out the checkpoint system quite yet. The addiction was real enough that I couldn't be bothered to stop. When you get into the zone, when you get into the rhythm of the game, you just want to keep going. It may take some time, but you'll be amazed at how much of a map you can remember if you're determined enough.

Experimenting with the actual Dub Dash gameplay itself, I tested both the Xbox 360 controller and keyboard controls. The D-pad of the gamepad can get really sweaty as you rage on, causing your fingers to slip, which subsequently leads to more rage! I was in better control of my grip and reaction time while using keyboard controls. All said, you'll be able to dodge left and right, make sharp 90 degree turns, and even FLY! That's right, you can fly in Dub Dash. Some portions of the level switch from a top-down view to a 3D side view. If you're wondering how to fly in Dub Dash? It's as simple as holding the right arrow key to ascend and releasing it to descend. Took me a few tries to figure that out.

What about the music? Sound familiar? Dub Dash features a head-bobbing, fist pumping soundtrack from Bossfight and the DJs of Geometry Dash. I can only imagine the difficulty of crafting a dubstep song that won't drive the player mad after so many attempts. But this crew pulled it off! The music from Dub Dash did not go stale and in fact, helps with the rhythm of the game. As you get accustomed to the music, you realize your control of the ship should also be in sync. The surrounding geometry shapes dance with light to the beat of the music. There are even fireworks! Fireworks that, while cool looking, can prove to be a distraction. The more you play, the longer you'll find yourself immersed in a hypnotizing psychedelic experience.

Dub Dash features a challenge mode (not featured in this video) that contains dynamically generated levels! Mmmhmm, now that seems impossible. But I'm ready to try it out!

Dub Dash multiplayer mode can feature up to 4 players with a 4-player split screen. I can only hope that should this game grow in popularity, perhaps players will one day have the option to create their own levels using a level editor and share them with the community!

Dub Dash launches on Steam for PC and Mac on February 16, 2016! It'll be very affordable and well worth the price of admission.
