Taking the reigns as Jane Frey, we blast our way through a zombie infested spaceship complete with robotic, cyber dogs and rotting corpses abound in Mission 1.

The Dead Effect 2 backstory begins as we're introduced to the ESS Meridian, a giant spaceship sent from Earth to be used as an ark for establishing new colonies, was home to scientists who could research and discover new technology without restriction. With this, they were able to discover ways to cheat death itself. They could create life and transform themselves into monsters. If that sounds crazy, it's because it is! A soldier that was part of one of these mad experiments managed to escape and kill one of the lead scientists.

Awakening from cryogenic sleep or perhaps a coma induced sleep, Jane Frey awakens in a medical lab, being operated on by a scientist who has defied orders to exterminate her. When the scientists are away, the ladies shall play. Through radio transmission, a woman known as Dante navigates us through the ship giving us a tutorial on the art of zombie killing. It's quite horrifying to see the effect these experiments have had on the dead.

This gameplay features footage from the Early Access edition of Dead Effect 2 for PC which had a public release date of February 22, 2016.

Dead Effect 2 is also available for Android and iPhone iOS.
