Continuing up the Deadly Tower of Monsters, we've reached the Emperor's Throne in which it's finally revealed while the friendly apes are being held captive. What kind of monster is the Emperor?! As quick as we catch up to him, he speeds away on his throne, not yet ready for a battle with our protagonists.

Scarlet Nova takes the lead on this journey as an Ape advises her to "follow the yellow metal road". Yeah, not quite as catchy. But I get the point. The road wraps around the tower directly into the path of the Mechameleon! Much like the Giant Mega Gorilla, the Mechameleon ascends the tower by clinging onto the track, using its hands made of saws as deadly weapons. It also has the ability to shoot balls of electricity.

For Scarlet to reach higher ground, she must play a mini game of Simon Says. It's a suitable substitute for a normal elevator button. Various enemies attack Scarlet on her way to the top. But once there, it's 1 on 1 with the Mechameleon for another epic boss battle and free fall.
