This game features no music outside of the intro cutscene. I suggest that you play some music to go with the gameplay. If you want a suggestion for music for this video, one is provided below.

The title is somewhat inaccurate in that you can't permanently get rid of the enemies on any floor in the game. Over time the enemies repopulate, providing you with a potentially endless supply of experience but also no end of problems if you need to backtrack to open a door, for instance if you didn't have to key for when you first encountered it. While you may be tempted to grind experience by fighting the monsters, it's not advised at the beginning at least; the experience gained from them isn't great to start out with and we're on a soft time limit in the form of the food meter. Once that runs out we'll start to take damage pretty quickly and soon after that, we'll die.

Still, the game's relatively generous in starting you out with a few pouches of rations so you can afford to entirely explore a floor. The more equipment you find, the better equipped you'll be for the enemies on the next floor which are always more challenging. Travelling to the next floor down for the first time nets you a sizable amount of experience, something we need if we hope to see 5th level.

There's also the copy protection which would prevent you from copying the game and playing it without owning the manual. That shouldn't be an issue with the GOG version and hasn't been every other time I've played, so I'm sure there'll be no issues this time around, right?

This video had a few instances where I had to cut out a couple of seconds of voice due to an unusual issue. Due to me having to cut the recording and restart it without closing the game down, a couple of segments seriously slowed down my voice audio in a distorted manner which sounded very strange. Rather then keeping it in, I decided to cut it out as cleanly as I could.
