Let’s Play Edna & Harvey: The Breakout #23: Making a Break for it
In our efforts to escape Edna has explored quite a lot of the asylum, grabbing every object she can find while attempting to figure out why she was imprisoned and what diabolical scheme Dr. Marcel has going on. We’ve concluded that he must be trying to erase our memory to stop us remembering something that will implicate him in something awful, though his methods clearly after as successful as he’d like; we can still recall fragments of our past provided we find something with a strong connection to the event, implying that our memories have been hidden away rather than eradicated. If we can just make it home, surely we can unlock what we’ve forgotten and make sense of everything.
To do that we’re going to need to escape which is far easier said than done. Bladder informed us that the inmates can’t escape through the front door, implying that it’s guarded at all times. The back door however isn’t watched, though we know it’s locked. If we were able to get hold of the master key, we could get to the grounds and be one step closer to freedom, only needing to contend with a large wall which would be simple for us. Since we don’t have that key, our only option is to try our luck with the front door. I’m sure we can talk our way past the guard or rush past them before they know what’s going on. In the worst case scenario, we’ll just be put back into our cell which we can easily escape from, right?
...Right?
