Let’s Play Edna & Harvey: The Breakout #21: Let’s Do the Tempomorph Again
154It’s tempomorph time again, though it’s going to be more tricky this time around. This is because we only have control of Harvey as he tries to work through Edna’s dormant memories to help her remember a skill she once knew very well, how to forge signatures. Much like the first time we did this, we have something we want to use this skill on right away – learning how to forge Dr. Marcel’s signature – as the game was quite heavy with its hints when we found his diploma that we needed to know how to do that. We even have an inventory item that we can use the signature on, but I’m getting ahead of myself.
Without Edna, we can’t directly pick up or manipulate items, so we’re going to have to rely on finding conversation topics for Harvey to talk to her about to solve puzzles. While this may seem daunting at first, the game is generous with its clues to get you started and once you’ve done the first step, the rest falls into place. As with all point and click adventure games, be observant and pay attention to what you’re told and you shouldn’t have too much difficulty here.
