139We’re already beginning to solve puzzles while trapped in this area and while we could go to see Adrian right away, I want to look everywhere else first and see if there’s anything else we can easily solve. There’s also the fact that the other people here will surely give us clues to solving puzzles, be they ones we know about or haven’t encountered yet, so it’s best to be thorough in both our searching and our conversations.
It’s also a good idea for us to make friends with the other people locked up here. They’re in the same situation as we are and I’m sure many of them would like to get out of there to freedom. If we play our cards right – and solve some inventory object puzzles – we may end up as the head of a team trying to break out rather then going solo. Whether any of them have any skills pertinent to breaking out of an asylum isn’t so important; it certainly hasn’t stopped us from getting this far, so surely they’ll be just as good as we are… in that they’ll fail completely and end up back where they started, trapped.
A minor setback that will quickly be remedied, I’m sure.
