The Arcane Labyrinth is a series of one floor mini-dungeons that are chosen by speaking keywords at the end of each floor. The North-West Cave has 4 floors, the North East Cave has 7, and the South Cave has 10, for a total of 21 floors.

Some of the keywords are gotten through doing side objectives, which in turn unlocks more floors. Honestly, if you want to get the weapons from the AL then just follow this guide:

The way this works is very simple. Just use the keywords in the order that is listed under the character names. If there is a location listed then use that list for that location. Otherwise, you use the same list in all three locations. The list is also sorted in the order in which the weapons become available. I got this list from a Japanese FF2 wiki and can personally verify that every path on it works.
