1We get M-M-M-M-Magic! And here we can begin breaking the game.
The Esper system is pretty neat. Any character can learn any spell in the game as long as you have the correct Esper equiped. Also some Espers give stats when you level up while having one equiped. This is the ONLY way to increase your primary stats such as Vigor and Magic Power.
The game is balanced in a way that it assumes you do not bother with boosting stats. The way damage is calculated, increasing Magic Power just ten points makes a significant difference in output.
But to delay the inevitable, I will only be equiping espers to characters to those who I believe are able to naturally learn magic. For now that is Terra and Celes. Needless to say, this limitation does little to stop me from tearing bosses like I have been.
