Let's Play Final Fantasy X NSGNSNO Challenge Finale Part 1- The Ultimate Challenge
0We finally reach Jecht inside Sin. We have a short heartfelt reunion before taking on the most difficult battle in this challenge.
Boss: Braska Final Aeon and Yu Pagodas(1st Phrase) - This final battle is brutal and luck dependent. Preparation is extremely important for this boss. The final boss is very powerful and fast so outspeed him is very difficult.Fortunately, the first phrase is not too difficult. The frontline is forced so Yuna, Tidus and Auron so make sure they have first strike weapon. Switch tidus weapon and switch Yuna for Rikku and haste the party. Then slow the pagodas with a silver hourglass not a gold hourglass because you don't want to trigger the padogas to attack. Double Auron hp and throw star curtain for the final phrase. The key to victory in this fight is to keep Auron alive at all times with his buff in battle. The problem is Jecht has his own overdrive bar because he is a aeon. His first overdrive is triumphant grasp which deal over 5000 damage to a single target. No one can survive this attack and if Auron is hit with this attack at any point after the first phrase it's mostly likely going to result in a game over. The goal is to damage Jecht with your most powerful single target items with rikku and do your best to avoid Auron getting hit by Jecht's overdrive. Inflict zombie on Jecht on free turn with your other character and throw mega potions on Jecht. Jecht is immune to instant death so phoenix down and x potions don't work. Before dealing the killing blow on the first phrase, make sure Auron is the party and that his overdrive gauge is not full.Yu pagodas also heal and fill Jecht overdrive every turn so Jecht will get his overdrive quickly.
Braska Final Aeon and Yu Pagodas(2nd Phrase)- Jecht now has a giant sword swing attack that he will always use once you enter the second phrase. The sword will ko everyone except Auron and will also inflict delay on him. Which allow Jecht to get two turns. Auron is forced to stay on the battlefield because of this attack. Jecht can swing his sword multiple time if you are unlucky. Which causes him to get his overdrive bar filled before you can inflict any damage. The goal is the bring drop his hp as close to 60000hp as possible while trying to survive. If Auron get hit by the overdrive, double his hp and heal him but if Jecht swing his sword before you can heal him it's game over.
Braska Final Aeon and Yu Pagodas(Final Phrase)- When Jecht hp reaches below 60000, his overdrive upgrades into Ultimate Jecht shot which will K.O. the party. If you decide to use dark matter, you chance of winning will increase since it deal more damage than supreme gems. You need to defeat jecht before his overdrive gauge is filled. This is where tidus comes into to play. Tidus talk command will lower jecht overdrive gauge to zero and prevent Jecht from taking an action for one turn. Talk command only work twice. Switch the first available character with tidus and have him talk twice to get yourself to turns to damage Jecht. Attack jecht and the pagodas with a supreme gems to prevent the pagodas from filling Jecht overdrive gauge. Also when the pagodas are defeated, when they revive their max hp increase. This guarantee that the dark matter with k.o. the pagodas once again, buying you more time to defeat him. Assault jecht with dark matter and hope Rikku doesn't get k.o. Jecht has a 60% chance to swing his sword at this phrase so you have to hope that he doesn't use it. Sometime he will just swing his sword a bunch of time which doesn't allow you to do anything. Then wiping out your party with the overdrive. Keep trying and don't give up. Eventually Jecht won't k.o. Rikku or swing his sword too much and you should be able to get the win. Which put this challenge to an end. Because the real final boss is a fight you cannot lose unless you try.
