12Let's Play Ghostbusters: The Video Game for Xbox 360 Part 1! Featuring our good pals Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson! And by that... I mean they did voice acting in the game for Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Winston Zeddemore, and Egon Spengler. Such classics.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game is a 2009 action-adventure game based on the Ghostbusters media franchise. Terminal Reality developed the Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 versions.
The game's plot is set two years after Ghostbusters II, around Thanksgiving in 1991. The Ghostbusters are training a new guy (us), while investigating more paranormal activities in New York City.
Basically, Ghostbusters The Video game is the third GhostBusters Movie, as Dan Aykroyd as said. It even has the soundtrack from the original film! It's really a pretty excellent game.
To do a quick Ghostbusters Game review: here are my first impressions. Ghostbusters The Video Game's gameplay is actually a lot like Luigi's Mansion. You play it like a third person shooter, but instead of shooting everyone in the face, you use your Proton Pack and a ghost trap to fight and capture ghosts. It's a lot of fun busting ghosts, they did a great job! Slamming ghosts, and catching them in the traps feels very satisfying.
Ghosts such as slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow man (Gozer) make appearances in our playthrough!
It's a really fun game and I thought it was a great one to take for a spin for our Halloween Month! I'll note that we don't beat the game so this isn't a full Ghostbusters The Video Game Walkthrough, more of a quick play. We're playing the first level at the Hotel where we fight Slimer, a Fisherman ghost, bellhop ghosts, and more! And then we play the second level featuring the Stay Puft Marshmallow man!
