17Let's Play Mario Party 2 Horror Land Part 2! We're playing the Map Horror Land as a Halloween Special, and we're all hepped up on energy drinks!
Max is Mario, Mack is Luigi, Lin is Yoshi, and Donkey Kong is a hard computer. I hate him.
Mario Party 2 is a board game-style party video game developed by Hudson Soft and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 video game console. The game was first released in Japan on December 17, 1999 and in other regions in 2000. The game is the direct sequel to Mario Party and is the second game in the Mario Party series, followed by Mario Party 3. We're playing the Wii release of Mario Party 2 on the Virtual Console.
Call me a retro enthusiast or whatever, but I think Mario Party 1, Mario Party 2, and Mario Party 3 were the best games of the bunch! Mario Party 4 was pretty good too, but beyond that I found myself less interested.

It's a pretty damn good selection of mini games. Some of my favorite Mario Party Mini games were Bumper Balls, Face Lift, Crazy Cutters, Cast Aways, Mecha Marathon, Eatsa Pizza, and that Domino one from Mario Party 4.
The playable boards in Mario Party 2 include Pirate Land, Western Land, Space Land, Mystery Land, Horror Land and Bowser Land. I think the boards is where Mario Party 2 shines. Each board has it's own theme, and with that costumes for all the characters, in addition to opening & ending skits... as well as a different themed dual mini game for each map.
The duals are a huge highlight for me. You can get a dueling glove to battle an opponent for the amount of coins you choose to wager, or you can duel someone on the final 5 turns if you land on the same space. The duals are simple but fun. I really like the swordfighting and quick draw duels.
