They don't have to believe you if it's trying to kill them too after all. Let's just hope your dungeoneers can run faster then they can or better yet, can actually fight it. As an added bonus they might even be able to defeat it.

Monsters that you encountered previously as the boss monster of previous levels appearing as standard enemies you can get on cards occurs more the further you go into the game. Usually the creature in question is entirely unaltered but some have a few minor trait changes, the main thing being removed is the aggressive trait to stop them chasing your dungeoneers. Usually the monsters in question aren't as difficult as actual area bosses but that's certainly not always the case. The best way to deal with them is to consider them bosses in their own right and only fight them when you're quite confident you'll win. That in fact is a good rule to follow for any fight in this game but sometimes it slips my mind.

This point in the game is by far not the meanest when it comes to using previous boss monsters are normal enemies. It gets a lot more difficult later, trust me.
