We fight a boss that Yukaria and Yuyuko carry us through. On Hard Mode and New Game+, this boss is reduced to a more managable level.

Poisonous Wasp is fast and does poison. Go figure. Weak against Dark. Yay!

Lesser Golem is another FOE. It has really high defenses and hits like a truck. Easiest way to deal with it if you cannot pierce its defenses is to use Rumia's piercing Dark Side of the Moon.


Chen (Shikigami of the Shikigami of the Youkai)

Super fast with a quick single target attack and self buff. Chen is similar to as she was in the previous game. She has a single target physical attack that has a really short delay and a row based Fire attack that does decent damage. She also has a self buff that greatly boosts Attack while debuffing Defense/Mind. She also sports naturally high Evasion. Her passives revolve around doing things fast. She can passively increase her Speed each turn. She can instantly take actions when swapped in. She can also gain buffs and MP for killing enemies which is great for sweeping random encounters. She also can provide resistance to Heavy status. She has Synergy with Yukari and Ran.

Parsee Mizuhashi (Jealousy Beneath the Earth's Crust)

A high Mind physical attacker, this green eyed monster revolves around dark attacks, terror, and debuffs. Her only non dark attack is a single target Physical attack that does very random damage. She has a single target and area Dark attacks that can cause Terror. Her final spell card does massive amounts of Dark damage but only to those who are afflicted with Terror (burning the Terror effect in the process). Her passives involve getting stronger the more debuffs are out on the field (ally or enemy), getting stronger while under a status effect, doing more damage against enemies who are under a status effect, and can boost Dark damage for the entire party. Works really well with Kogasa since both use and benefit from Terror effects.
