We fight our first FOE. FOE's are just like the ones in Etrian Odyssey. They are not too interesting though as they do not patrol and just kinda wait until you are in aggro range before chasing. But, they are bosses that respawn after 13 visits into the Great Tree so you can fight them for exp, money, and rare materials.

Chrysomallos has some heavy single physical hits and some area attacks. It can inflict Terror with its roar.

Kaguya Houraisan has a bunch of Area spells that pierce through defenses (I think). I don't know much about this fight as she is weak to both Physical and Dark which is what my party has much in.

I also cleaned up the party, taking only those I have never used before with Rumia being the temporary exception (need at least one magic attacker).

Crafting is a new addition to the series. You can take materials you find out in the Great Tree and make equipment out of them. I find it mostly useless but it can get you free gear to sell. I usually use it to make resistance gear that I am lacking and that is about it.
