Alright the final thing to do before moving on with Floor 21 and onward. Though this is optional stuff at the moment, you will need to do all these tasks if you want to reach the Floor 30 final boss (one of the requirements is to unlock all the characters). Time for Maribel V2.

Maribel Hearn V2 (Boss):
This fight is very much like the original but some minor changes. The minions have different names and look very different and of course everything hits harder and has more hp than ever before.

Phases of the fight are still the same cept for two facts. First off, after summoning all three minions, both Maribel and the middle summon will become immune to all damage (cept for piercing attacks). This effect will remain until the middle summon casts Rankain which will boost its magic greatly but will remove the shielf over itself and Maribel. Speaking of the middle summon (the floating head) it also acts differently. It will use its turns spamming two lightning bolts followed by a more powerful spell. If you have any piercing attacks, use them on the middle summon so you can take it out faster (and Maribel as well if needed). Other than that, it is the same fight but with large stat increases. Just stick to the same methods and hope you outlast her buffs and spells.

Defeating her unlocks two new characters...


Maribel:
Human (power to see borders)
Maribel is very similar to Reisen. Lack luster stats but has a self buff. She also has a number of attacks that debuff all stats at the same time. But unlike Reisen, she has a small variety of elements at her disposal and a composite attack.

Chaotic Quadruple Barrier is a single target Spirit spell that has good speed and ok ratios along with the added effect of debuffing Atk, Def, Magic, and Mind by 15% . Destroying Quadruple Barrier is an stonger area version of the previous spell with much longer delay but a stronger debuff (25% debuff). Liberated Abilities is an area Mystic composite attack with ok delay. Hyperdimesion Flying Object is Row based Wind spell that has good Magic ratio while having some piercing ability (opponents only use 75% of their Mind). Overflowing Unnatural Power is her self buff that is much like Reisen's but is stronger (+75% to all stats) with a massive delay.

Overall, she is a decent character if you keep her buffs up and can take a hit rather well while her defenses are up.


Renko:
Human (can tell exact time by looking at the stars and can know current location by looking at the moon. human GPS)
Renko is a rather unique character that literally has no damage potential whatsoever. Her stats are low across the board and does not stand out in any field. Her 'attack' spells have piercing but use only 50% of her already low Magic. But she makes up for all this by having the best utility spells in the game.

Galaxy stop is an area spell with low damage with huge delay but has the strongest Paralysis effect in the game along with a 100% Speed debuff. Get this on a boss and you will have some breathing room for a good duration. Debilitate is another area spell with no damage and huge delay that debuffs Atk, Def, Magic, and Mind by 100% (meaning it drills through buffs while also debuffing). Her final ability is a bit harder to use though. Charge is a group buff that increases Atk, Def, Magic, and Mind by 75% but has the side effect of hurting the party and will reduce the party's active guage by half (cept her own).

Overall, she is the best debuff/paralysis in the game along with a decent group buff if you set it up right. Its best to never buff her Magic so the Charge effect wont hurt as much. Just stick with speed and defenses on this one.
