The final battle.

***WINNER*** (boss):
100 million hp, enjoy. This boss also has a large variety of moves including every type of elemental attack that is 100% piercing. Just like the Serpent of Chaos, he has three phases with each unlocking more moves. He starts with raw damage. If you do not have at least 400+ affinity in all elements (along with 180k+ hp), your front lines are not going to endure his attacks. His attacks are slow and he is not too fast (unless he buffs his speed to 50% with Wand of Speed) so it is possible to swap in and out your attackers before his next attack. If you leave an attacker out during WINNER's turn, that attacker is pretty much dead.

In Phase two and three, WINNER will have access to a heal spell. One can heal for about 6-7 million and can be used a total of five times in the battle while his other heal does up to 30 million and can only be used once. If all heals are used, you are looking at an additional 60-70 million hp to drill through.

WINNER also has numerous support spells. He can boost his speed. He can increase Defense and Mind. He can increases all his Affinities to 600. He can become immune to all damage (cept for piercing) for five turns. He can half everyone's hp and has an attack with 500 DTH (thankfully 30+ Death resistance can still prevent this). The worst attack though is Time Stop. This will ALWAYS paralyze the entire front row and reduce their ATB bars slightly. Paralyze resist will shorten the duration but even with that, you are looking at WINNER getting a couple of free actions before you can even make an attempt to recover.

WINNER is neutral to all elements. He can be poisoned and its possible to paralyze him though it is a very low chance. Debuffs work but he is resistant. Besides that, just make sure you have your affinities way up for this fight. The more fancy gear you have from floor 30, the better.

Defeating WINNER has a 10% chance to get you the Regalia (400% Defense/Mind). You will also get a Star. There are no credits, you are free to just go back and save your game. That save can now be used for New Game+ the next time you start a new game. Also if you load your save, Serpent of Chaos and the Hibachi twins will be back and WINNER will be back but slightly stronger. You are free to kil them all again and killing WINNER will make them return with WINNER being even stronger each time. Each WINNER kill will give you a Star and increase the drop rate of the Regalia by 1%.
