Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos is the first of three Lands of Lore games.
It was developed by Westwood Studios and published by Virgin Interactive in 1993 with the CD version coming out in 1994.
It is a RPG, a dungeon crawler to be more precise, and we're playing the CD version complete with voice acting.
Scotia and her army threaten the lands and the one opposing her is King Richard and the army of Gladstone.
One of Richard's loyal follower is our player character, but it won't only be him who is fighting against Scotia.
Aside from the monsters there are a quite a number of traps inside the cave of the Draracle and not all of them can be avoided. While we're busy fighting monsters and navigating through the maze that is the cave of the Draracle we have to dodge a lot of firy death coming from afar.
Will we succumb and burn or will we find the Draracle?
