Quest for Glory came out in 1989 and was developed and published by Sierra On-line (better known as simply Sierra). It combines Point and Click with RPG gameplay and mechanics creating a unique game. The Quest for Glory game spans five games and this is the VGA remake to the first one.
The different games have each a unique setting in a different part of a world which are based on the mythology of different continents and countries in our world.
The first game is mostly based on german/nordic mythology and fairy tales.
We got past an ogre and entered a cave where we found a bear.
Bear are normally bad news in a game with a fantasy setting, actually bears are bad news in many games, but this bear is special and has a secret.
