Quest for Glory came out in 1989 and was developed and published by Sierra On-line (better known as simply Sierra). It combines Point and Click with RPG gameplay and mechanics creating a unique game. The Quest for Glory game spans five games and this is the VGA remake to the first one.
The different games have each a unique setting in a different part of a world which are based on the mythology of different continents and countries in our world.
The first game is mostly based on german/nordic mythology and fairy tales.
After using the time off-screen to grind Gilbert and his skill a little bit, actually a lot, we will see the fruit of his training and the new dangers he will face.
