In this video I was paid by the developer Matthew Kelly to play a game called 'Let's Pet Pets' on Steam.
About the Game:
Let's Pet Pets is an Indie Idle Game about LITERALLY PETTING Pets. You can build a whole town full of pets, and PET THEM ALL. That's the game, but honestly, it's one of those super relaxing games that you throw on and lose yourself for like a couple of hours.
Game Score: 8/10
Full Review: The gameplay itself is fun and addictive! The game has NO CASH SHOP and NO MONETIZATION beyond the initial price on Steam of $5 which is ridiculously cheap! The core game of petting pets is fun. The music is relaxing, the sounds are simple and retro. Plus, the game has plenty of good systems to keep earning you points while you're offline. The only downside holding it back from a full 10/10 score is the fact that the Town Building aspect of the game is under-developed and extremely DULL. Compared to the Pet petting system, the Town Building is literally an eye sore and the only thing holding it back from a full 10 stars.
Tl;Dr - It's $5 for a fun & relaxing time-sink game with no additional costs, but town building sux.
