Welcome to LISA: The First.

LISA: THE FIRST is a Yume-Nikki style exploration game. It was made in RPG Maker 2003 and released on October 9th, 2012. It is the predecessor to LISA: THE PAINFUL. It is an exploration of Lisa Armstrong's mind as she tries to cope with the burden of being abused by her father Marty before committing suicide.

In LISA: The Painful RPG, the protagonist Brad Armstrong, deals with his abusive upbringing as he comes an adult. Years later, he finds an abandoned infant and decides to raise her as his own. She grows up confined to his basement, but one day, everything changes.

LISA: The First is an expansion off Brad Armstrong's childhood. It is implied in LISA: The Painful that he had a little sister, Lisa, who was also abused by their father, Marty Armstrong. Lisa eventually could no longer take the abuse and commited suicide. LISA: The First seeks to explore Lisa's childhood in a rather abstract manner. We are dropped off into a lobby, where we find doors and ladders of various colours and materials, behind which confusing hallucinations, all involving the nightmares of Lisa's childhood, lie.

LISA: The First is now considered a prequel of LISA: The Painful, but it was actually also the first game created in the LISA series. It was initially titled "LISA", until LISA the Painful came out, at which point it was retroactively retitled to LISA: The First.

This let's play video footage of LISA: The First is blind and recorded on the PC version in 1080p / 60fps. It is a blind gameplay/walkthrough video. LISA: The First RPG is the first of the trilogy of works chronologically, with the other ones being "LISA: The Painful and "LISA: The Joyful".
