We fight the King Mammoth some more.

So the hunting area you were kicked out into has a King Mammoth in it after you lose Bel and escape the trap. He moves VERY fast so tracking by scent will only give a slight hint of where he is. Unlike other monsters, you must hit A to enter combat with this encounter. So the best thing you can do is sniff the air alot to remain somewhat near the thing and constantly press the A button as you move around. Eventually it will run infront of you. Now for the boss himself...

This boss is mostly based on luck. It has alot of Health, Defense, and Evasion. Even Pogo's ultimate attack does very little to this boss. Push Push will do the most consistent damage to this boss and will have a chance to paralyze it for a brief moment. Stand diagonal from the boss and just spam this attack as much as possible. Use Gori for healing and occasionally throwing poop at the boss to replace the fire terrain that will appear. This boss is healed by fire.

That is it. All you can do is pray that your attacks hit and hit often while hoping the boss does not use its most powerful attacks when you start to miss multiple times.

Beating this boss will always get you the King's Fang. This accessory will get +20 Power and immunity to status effects (VERY useful for the endgame much later). The boss also has a chance to drop the Cola Bottle. This accessory gives +30 Speed but it can be used as an repeatable attack item that will supposedly trivialize the game. For now, just equip it to Pogo so he can take it with him to the final chapter.
