After what seems like a near century wait (it was really only about 5 years), the newest Make A Good Megaman Level (MAGMML for short) has been released! I've decided to get on this as soon as possible before I start getting spoiled on the entries. I'll be playing through the levels and reading the reviews along the way and giving some thoughts on each of the levels in the description. Feel free to follow along...

Technical difficulties... please stand by...

Once the game was updated I could finally make it to the levels. Let's gooooooo!

Decoy Man - "Propper" This level is intriguing... it has a backstory and lore and there are some nice gimmicks introduced. The custom enemies are also cool. But it has a "what could've been" feel. Not a bad level by any means, I just feel that there is more that could be done. That boss sprite at the end though... yeeeesh

Where no met has gone before - I think this is the first "All In" level where there are 3 elements and 5 tokens to collect. I can't imagine how nightmarish this level would be without a map. On the plus side, it is no where near as challenging as other large levels. There is definitely some trimming that could've been done here though.

Stolen Citadel - Poor Dr. Cossack, never can catch a break. Not a fan of this one. Awful opening with insane enemy spam and some lackluster usage of the lift platforms make the level overall unfun. The boss doesn't help either, but that may be more on me.

Military Training Grounds - We need more originality in songs in these stages. Nothing wrong with Flash in the Dark, but how about Top Man or Skull Man every so often. Just something other than the old standbys. I honestly didn't remember anything about this level when I uploaded it. I have a feeling this'll be a reoccurring theme in the next few areas.

Teetering Over The Edge - The music though, if you aren't humming that later, you have no soul. I don't know where it is from, gotta be Disney as a part sounds like the Mickey Mouse March. I am not a fan of Blade Man platforms, generally these are not used great, and here is no exception. I never knew Gyro Man could be so challenging...

Magnum Man - Well, he admits it himself that he made the level as amateurish as possible, but great custom elements. Honestly though, it's not bad. Probably due to fixing the level up...
