After what seems like a near century wait (it was really only about 5 years), the newest Make A Good Megaman Level (MAGMML for short) has been released! I've decided to get on this as soon as possible before I start getting spoiled on the entries. I'll be playing through the levels and reading the reviews along the way and giving some thoughts on each of the levels in the description. Feel free to follow along...

I head back to Just a Judge Level now that I have the compass in an effort to find that last element, and lo and behold, I find it in the most obvious of locations. How I missed it before I don't know. We also found the cheat shop and, not gonna lie, some of those sound fantastic. Will definitely try them out later... also, apologies for just sniffling and snorting into the mic, allergies were a thing. Anyway, without further ado...

Bright Man Remix - As I said previously, you need to be careful when you base your levels off of another robot master as it will always be compared to the original. On the plus side, Bright Man's stage (with the exception of the music), isn't the best. It's memorable for the amount of gimmicks it has, but doesn't take it that far, so it's got some room for improvement. This stage, does it adequately well, it's not going to light (no pun intended) the contest on fire, but it is serviceable. No complaints... Also, Spark Man boss? I guess ya gotta be different.

Akudama Empire Mothership - On the flip side, this level was all sorts of no. Terrible confusing tileset and terrible checkpoint placement just made this one not fun. Seriously, how is someone supposed to know there is a token on the opposite side of that cliff, then to put a checkpoint at the bottom of it so you have to replay the level to go back and get it! That's just unacceptable. It's one thing to have the token noticeable, but out of reach. It's something totally different to not have it on screen. Two bosses (one at the beginning and one at the end) with virtually no difference was also silly, but time constraints screwed that, so I'll let it slide.

Creatively Named Level - There is no excuse that this level needs to be THIS long. Despite the judges encouraging people to not go long on their levels while the contest was taking place, people still made levels like this. Seriously, one section was enough for this. Keep your levels short and tight and people will like them a lot more.
