Let's Play: Make A Good Megaman Level 3 - Part 12
After what seems like a near century wait (it was really only about 5 years), the newest Make A Good Megaman Level (MAGMML for short) has been released! I've decided to get on this as soon as possible before I start getting spoiled on the entries. I'll be playing through the levels and reading the reviews along the way and giving some thoughts on each of the levels in the description. Feel free to follow along...
We are back! I couldn't stay away. After the level I played on this one though, part of me wishes I did. Only one level in this part and it's a doozy. The rest of the time is spent playing the arenas. I also discovered different skins for our weapons! Neat.
ArcaneMan CHAOS TOWER [CERN HQ REMAINS] - I was wise in dedicating one part to this stage. This was rough. Disclaimer: The stage itself was alright. Nifty gimmicks that, while not introduced well, worked with the stage. Then the game decided to throw a nice story into things introducing said story with one of the worst boss fights in the contest so far. It says a lot when you make a boss whose weakness is Spark Chaser and you STILL have issues beating him. Then the story. I'm sure its good, but man, get an editor. I get it, when writing you want to try and paint a picture and be as descriptive as possible. But there is a reason editors do exist. It's also where playtesting helps. The boss here is no better than the first and nearly blew through my tank reserves. Fortunately they are refilled every time you die.
