Let's Play Mega Man 2 - Part 3: Defeating the Undefeatable (Also, My Falsetto Stinks)
After a longer break than I would have liked, I'm finally back with part 3. This is actually my third time recording this; I didn't like how the first one turned out, and I accidentally erased the second one. Also, I need to quit coughing into the microphone...and remember to move the mouse offscreen. Anyway...
Here, I decided to break the circle and do Air Man's stage next, rather than moving directly on to Metal Man. Air Man...his stage is kind of a pain. You really have to watch your step, because the place is full to the brim with bottomless pits, not to mention some really annoying enemy types. He himself isn't too much of a threat as long as you have a decent amount of health, despite what the song says...the song. THE SONG. Yes, this is the video where I absolutely HAVE to mention "I Can't Defeat Air Man", and also where, by way of a third verse to the song that I made up myself (the original has only two), I find out that defeating Air Man is actually easier than singing the song. Seriously, it requires a range of over 2 octaves (2 octaves plus a perfect 4th, actually) and is really, really fast. Did I sound like I was strained and running out of breath at the end of the chorus? That's because I WAS. I'm not a *bad* singer...I'm just not very good at breathing and can't handle high notes well at all.
Oh, yeah, and I did Metal Man's stage, too.
By the way, the original (well, English) version of "I Can't Defeat Air Man" is here:

Full credit to Team Nekokan, the writers of the original Japanese version (known as "Airman ga Taosenai"), as well as Kiwi Kenobi, whose lyrics heavily inspired mine. (And since *she* can sing the song without losing the beat or passing out, why not check out her video?)
