For the final extras, we show off Hero Mode and Superhero Mode, which are harder difficulties that basically just amount to "extra enemy spam" and "extra enemy spam that doesn't even fit with the level", and Proto Man mode.

And that's all for Mega Man 9. This is still one of my favorite classic Mega Man games, though I'd be hard-pressed to say what my absolute favorite is. It definitely has some rough spots (some of the level design like Jewel Man's spike jumps, the shop being unnecessarily slow, and getting rid of the slide and charge seems silly), but the boss designs are neat, the special weapons are quite fun, and the music is good.
