Time to start taking on the Mavericks! First up is Bamboo Pandamonium at Booster Forest. In this stage you actually get to use a Ride Armor! Try to keep it all the way through the level if possible,you can even use it against the boss. If you brought Axl along,you can use his Copy Shot on the robots that can roll into a ball. This is needed to get a Rare Metal in a small crevice a little later in the level with his A-Trans skill. Past the first room where you fight against several enemies in Ride Armors,use a nearby button to get yours up an elevator. If you glide and dash to the left,you should have just enough air time to jump past spikes to a Dr.Light Capsule! This gets you the Neutral Armor and the Icarus Foot Parts,allowing X to jump higher. Near the end of the level is a spike conveyor belt. Land your Ride Armor on it,and quickly follow it as it travels in the background. When it's back in the foreground,quickly hop in and ride it back to the shaft and jump down. This will get you the Rare Metal along that path! Bamboo Pandamonium will fire missiles at you that can also be aimed at you from above,summon bamboo shoots to block you while he charges at you,and fire explosives at you. He'll use his Overdrive at 25% HP remaining,which is a giant punch guaranteed to kill you if it hits. Just jump over him with X,or sacrifice the Ride Armor if you brought it. Next up is Optic Sunflower at the Troia Base. Here you'll have to clear various challenges to proceed,which either increase or decrease in difficulty depending on how well you do in them. Axl's Blast Launcher works amazing well for most of these challenges. Past the 6th challenge room is a Rare Metal on a ledge to the left,you can glide to it with Axl. If you get top scores on 4-7 of the challenges,you'll get a Rare Metal. To get the other you'll need perfect scores in all of 'em. Optic Sunflower can change the layout of the room at will. he can use various beam attacks,and launch a sphere that can trap one of your Hunters in it. His Overdrive at 1/4 HP remaining is 3 satellite laser attacks,just dodge at the last second to avoid it. He's weak to Green Spinner/Blast Launcher/Yodantotsu.
