Starting up Disc 2. Snake finds himself in the Blast Furnace area of the Shadow Moses Base,which will hopefully lead to where Metal Gear Rex is being held. You'll need to hug the western wall while avoiding the moving object along the way. Duck if it gets too close,otherwise you'll be knocked into the lava below. You can find more supplies on the ground floor by crawling through the steam room. It leads to more Stinger Missiles and Chaff Grenades,just watch for Gun Cameras there. In the next room,you'll ride down a large elevator. As you head down though,3 guards will ambush you and attack during the ride. Again you can't avoid killing these guys,so the FA-MAS Rifle is your best bet here with Body Armor equipped. Tossing a Stun Grenade right as the fight starts can help you get positioned to start firing at them as they get up. Another Gun Camera awaits after the fight,then you'll ride down another Cargo Elevator to an icy area. You'll also have a conversation with Master Miller about Naomi,who may not be who she says she is. A spy,perhaps? Might be a good idea to save before entering the next area,cause you'll be fighting Vulcan Raven as a boss up ahead. For this fight,he'll be patrolling the area with his huge Gatling Gun. He'll fire if he sees you,so keep out of his line of sight. Nikita Missiles can work on him,but if he sees them from far away he can shoot them down. If you can time it right,Stinger Missiles can be quite effective on him. An alternate way to fight him would be to just place Claymore Mines around the area. Odds are he'll eventually wander into them at some point during the battle. You can place up to 8 at once. Just try to remember where you place them,or you'll blow yourself up! As he takes damage he'll start running around the room rather than walking,so be careful. As he dies,he'll tell you that the DARPA Chief that died in the cell was actually Decoy Octopus. But why impersonate him?
