Let's Play Metroid Fusion Part 1
1It begins. The opening and intro of the game,then starting the exploration of the B.S.L. Research Station. Samus has been infected by a Parasite known as the X. It nearly killed her,but thanks to a Metroid Vaccine,she survived. Your first task will be to check out the Quarantine Bay. You'll be able to get used to the controls along the way,and fight your first X parasite enemy. Samus recovers Energy and Missiles through free-floating X Parasites in this game. Return to a Navigation Room after checking out the Quarantine Bay,and your Computer will end up sending you to a Data Room to the North. Ride the elevator up,and you'll regain Missiles from the Data Room! Unfortunately the station loses power afterwards. You'll need to find an alternative way out using Missiles. Head through the off-map area to the east,picking up some Missile Tanks and an Energy Tank along the way. You'll face the first boss of the game up ahead,Arachnus-X. Just dodge it's projectile attack and shell rush while pummeling it with the Power Beam or Missiles. Once it's body is destroyed,you'll have to hit the Core-X that appears with some Missiles to kill it fully. You'll get Samus's Morph Ball ability back for defeating it! Return to a Navigation Room after the fight and you'll be sent to Sector 1 SRX next. The Main Elevator will be knocked out after descending it,and you'll get to see an X that is mimicking Samus too! For Sector 1,the goal is to clear out the 5 Atmospheric Stabilizers of X Parasites. You'll need Missiles to wipe 'em out. Exploring the area,I found 1 Energy Tank and 2 Missile Tanks along the way. after clearing 4 of the Stabilizers,you'll soon face the next boss. It's an X Parasite mimicking a Chozo Statue! It immediately turns into a Core-X after revealing it's a fake. This Core-X is a little different,you have to wait until an Eye opens before you can hurt it with a Missile. You'll get the Charge Beam for defeating it! Found another Missile Tank afterwards,and cleared out the final Atmospheric Stabilizer.
