0Heading to Sector 5 ARC next. This cold area will no longer pose a problem for Samus now that she has the Varia Suit. You'll need to unlock the Yellow Level 3 Security hatches this time. Make your way down once you reach the cold area and then start heading east,it'll eventually lead you to the Security Room. Once unlocked,make your way to the Data Room to get Ice Missiles! Now you can freeze enemies and use them as platforms. You can use it in the next room to get an Energy Tank. There's also a Missile Tank hidden to the east,you'll have to let the X Parasites form into different monsters and freeze them. In order to escape from here,you'll need to kill an enemy twice,then let it possess the weird plant pillar thing to extend it. Then you can Freeze it and use it to build up a Speed Boost and run west. There's another Missile Tank you can get before returning to the Nav. Room,by freezing the enemies that slowly float downwards. When you return to the Nav. Room,your computer tells you the main boiler in Sector 3 is going haywire. You'll have 6 minutes to get over there and turn the cooling unit on before the boiler explodes. Make your way back to Sector 3 PYR and down to the Level 2 Hatches in the long vertical room. You'll pass through heated lava rooms,watch out for fireballs and enemies. Freezing enemies with Ice Missiles can help you get through the area a lot more quickly. Once you reach the control room,attack the human there and you'll fight a Core-X with an Eye. Beating it gets you the Wide Beam! Once the crisis is averted,you can find another Missile Tank through the other green security hatch in the vertical room. Through another lava hallway near the entrance is a Missile Tank,and hidden behind that is another Energy Tank. The computer points out there are life signs on the habitation deck afterwards. Ended up getting 2 more Missile Tanks on the way to check' em out. Good ol' Etecoons and Dachoras.
