0Welcome to the first official full length Let's Play on this channel. I have done playthroughs on this channel before years ago and a few snippets of gameplay videos over the years but this is the first time I'm comitting to an entire project as I play the sequel to one of my favourite games of all time for the channel, a game considered somewhat of a black sheep by the fandom, known for it's experimental mechanics and high difficulty coming out in an era well before Dark Souls changed gamer's perceptions over acceptable difficulty in video games. Though, for a series that was primarily compared to Halo back when it was being released, Prime arguably shares a lot of gameplay characteristics with Dark Souls such as an explorable map and a story which you have to discover for yourself.
In the first episode of this Let's Play, we land on Planet Aether following a distress beacon from the Galactic Federation but our ship crash lands due to a Lightning Storm and we are stuck on this planet. What awaits us in the depths of Planet Aether? Are the troopers still alive?
This episode was recorded using a previous recording setup, I change this in Episode 2 onwards to use a new microphone for this Let's Play, so voice quality will change next episode.
