It is my distinct pleasure to bring you the first and only playthrough of this wonderfully old game on the internet! ...in English.

Yeah, there's a German guy who has an LP of this game up (as Millenium 2.2 for something other than DOS). From what I can tell, he's pretty terrible at this game (on the other hand, I've been playing this game since I was seven, and that was almost 20 years ago).

Anyways, this game's premise is simple: Earth has been made uninhabitable, and the only humans left are 100 people on the Moon. It's our job to seek out other planets and moons in our own solar system that will have the resources necessary to terraform and colonize Earth once again. The only thing standing in our way? A base on Mars with what I can only imagine is a rogue colony that have mutated and started calling themselves Martians.

Anyways, we begin by gathering resources on the Moon and researching those things that we will need to progress, then begin the mass exploration of everything by sending probes out to land on other worlds and gather data on them (and determine suitability of colonization and what minerals can be found on them).This video is entirely the "defend yourself and probe everything" phase of the game.

I think I have a pretty good grasp of the sequence of events and the event triggers of this game in order to complete it relatively quickly (if not in real time, than in game time). This run actually beats my previous best time by a little over a year, and I'm quite proud of that.
