Let's Play Millenium: Return to Earth! Part 2 - The Buildup
The first portion of this game is spent probing other worlds and determining where we might want colonies. It doesn't take long to locate where the three worlds we want are located at. Our aim is first a supply of Silver, which we need no more than 1240 units of, second a supply of Chromium, which we only need 220 units. I find the Chromium not long after this video begins.
The next event of the game requires three colonies, after which the wreckage of a Martian Fleet Carrier is found on the surface of the first planet you colonized. Once you find this, you can research it under Transportation, after which you discover that it is huge and massive, and requires many more units of material than you likely will have at that point.
After you research the Fleet Carrier, another event happens on the same planet that found the thing in the first place, and that is that the commander of that base will die from the Martian Flu, and at that point you will be able to research the Vaccine from the Miscellanious tab. This is why it's important to own a Waverider, as they can get medical supplies to colonies that need them super quick compared to normal transport. Unfortunately, Venus and the Moon contract Martian Flu over and over again, and I think Storage is to blame.
I end this video trying to gather the Iron and Titanium needed to build the blasted Fleet Carrier, all the while building up my supplies of Orbital Lasers.
