So I'm currently keeping a Minecraft Realm open just for 7th graders from my classroom. I'm hoping to maintain it for several years in a row to see how each generation interacts with the artifacts/buildings/ruins of past students, but also a cool way to build community & teach social skills.
It's been especially popular lately, since we're currently on home quarantine, and this video is all about how it's been helping my class, as well as showing off some of the amazing things they've made.
If you're a teacher, I'd highly consider a Minecraft realm as a fairly safe virtual world for students to interact with each other. I think it's a great way to provoke creativity, teamwork, and community.
