Missed Messages by Angela He is a beautifully drawn visual novel about missed opportunities that lead to unexpected endings. This can either go the cute and even romantic route or delve into horror.

Without spoiling anything, I didn’t get the horror route and don't really know how to get it. However, since one playthrough is roughly 20 minutes long, it's probably easy to try out a few avenues.
