Let's Play MMX Command Mission Part #042 Almost Blowing Up Ourselves
One thing I forget to mention during the credits. It was my initial feeling about this game beating it for the first time.
This game feels like a first or second draft. Combat was fleshed out, so was the basic story and villian motivation. But it didn't get that final "shine" which could have made this a really great RPG. Such as little side stories and side quests. Yes there IS side stuff, but it's not really a "side-quest".
Also, that really annoying noise during the credits? I'm juggling my TV remote. Sorry about that. Why do I always do the most annoying crap during the credits?
Plus a question... Why is it in the future they seem to always drop the last number/last two numbers of the year?
Great Redips (Round One)
999,999 LE (No kidding)
Power: 200 Speed: 90
Armor: 180 Shield: 180
Note: Make sure to use Marino to steal from him! Memento Mori is a terrible ability that he has, it inflicts virus, blind, freeze and bind.
This first round is all about just surviving in as good condition as possible really. I could use hyper turns and use Gain Hypers but... I would rather save them. Keeping one person immune to all status ailments is INCREDIBLY helpful (Cure Alls for the win!)
Great Redips (Round Two)
72,500 LE
Power: 165 Speed: 90
Armor: 60 Shield: 65
Note: He takes a HUGE hit in stats here. Still want to steal from him again. He still has the same moves plus a couple extra. Deep Impact ignores defenses, Carpe Diem reduces party WE to 0. But at least he is beatable now!
Left SFM
4,600 LE
Note: Uses Mega type elemental attacks and has "Format". Format removes all support effect to everything. This includes defend oddly.
Right SFM
4,600
Note: Same as the left one just doesn't have Format.
You can steal Neutralizers 10% and 20% from both SFMs. They also count as flying enemies. Killing the right one removes his barrier and killing the right one removes his regenerative powers. They do come back though...
I do fluff the optional bosses up a bit more than they deserve though.
SFM Fragment Alpha
WE Gain +75%, Recover LE every turn. 99 Erosion
SFM Fragment Beta
+100 to Power, Shield and Armor +20 Speed. 99 Erosion
Now these are just mere pieces... So that means anything we fought that had SFM? Yeah basically they were complete weaklings that were only able to fight us because they had it.
Last few parts I've just put in a small book in the description....
