Here we are with Doom II's No Rest for the Living! I couldn't put Doom II in the video title thanks to the 100 character limit :(. Anyway, this map is well-known for the Easter egg that I show off at the beginning which is only accessible for the first 30 seconds. If you get to the switch in time, it shows 'THE CASTLE WAS HERE', which is a reference to Russell Meakin, who is also known as "The Castle" and he also developed this map. All of that aside, the map itself is unusually long and tough for a first map but it's fun and there's a lot of exploration to be done as there are 7 secrets to find and side areas that can be explored. If you aren't going for all of the secrets then the map is pretty short. The hordes that you're up against are tough for a first map, although we will soon see worse, and the artillery you're given at the start doesn't help. Finding the yellow key in the secret area will enable you to get a super shotgun near the start by finding a yellow wall switch and take care of the tough enemies a lot easier. The second map is a lot easier, so if you've made it through this first map then you've made it through the first of a few tough maps in this map set.
