Let's Play Notrium (P14)
10Man that wasn't the best way to end this. Oh well?
We ended up seeing and exploring quite a bit of the game, but there's plenty we didn't quite get to. What are in those boxes? How about the center of the desert? Or the mysterious giant lifeform in Gaia? There's plenty left to see, many of them likely having to do with actually winning the game (I've been told there are numerous ways to win). Check it out for yourself! After all, you don't HAVE to stop if you die.
After this recording I went back and tested out that laser enemy. They drop a "stun laser", which is only supposed to deal "minimum damage". I think the designers may have used a "damage per tick" model for that weapon, meaning the alien's super-speed actually put it at a disadvantage. It's silly because it's not intended, and all the more reason I feel bleh about what happened. (It's really easy to goad the enemy into firing, then kill it between shots, just in case you guys are considering the alien route.)
