So I got demoted for completing my quest successfully, which was to determine how thoroughly dead Viranus Donton is. His death, FYI, was all due to Oreyn having the strategic mind of...well, me, actually, if my X-Com career is anything to go by.

This is, of course, completely unfair and all, but considering the demotion came from the Guild master that just heard her son got unceremoniously slaughtered after her OTHER son went KIA, I think this is acceptable.

Fun Fact: Actually this time I'm the one fishing for fun facts. Does anyone know why this whole "demotion" thing was implemented? As I've said, you can completely skip the demotion and the quests required to regain your previous rank simply by not talking to Azzan. Why does this exist over, oh I don't know, some signs that makes the Guild look at all competent, maybe less bugs that make it impossible to finish?
