After dealing with the Empire for the entire game, we finally get to visit their home territory. However, even though the Fourth Overlord is in a temperate, verdant region that’s a stark contrast to the tundra village and hellish fortress that he grew up in, he can at least take solace in that there’s one thing that it has in common with his first home in Nordberg: a catapult. Though too bad that unlike the first catapult that we utilized, this one’s being initially operated by the enemy and, like us how we were with them, they waste no time in attempting to crush us under a bombardment of boulders… and unfortunately for us, succeeding; thereby continuing the theme of the Browns being massacred left and right.
On the bright side, we’re able to avenge our fallen Browns by hijacking the catapult ourselves and using it to once again rain rocky ruination down upon waves of Empire solders and smash down a gate leading into their heartlands.
