Not THE "Good Book," of course, but the Manual of Bodily Health was certainly a turbo-charged "Fitness for Dummies" for the lone dwarf in our party, giving him a CON of 20. (Watch closely when the party's down on HPs in future episodes - Gimli should now be healing faster than the reset of the party.)
Unfortunately, that level-drain our cleric took just before we left Mantor's Library has left her at the bottom end of the XP range for her level, even after her experience levels were restored. (And she had been ready for a level-up herself before the level drain happened . . . :( )
Since the Cadorna Textile House neighborhood (where we plan to head next) is reputed to have undead wandering the streets just outside the house, we stop by Bishop Braccio's office and add Dirten to our party. We'll be happy to help him rescue a temple that's been desecrated by Banites - if he helps us survive Junior Councilman Cadorna's "secret mission" first. ;)
