The good news is that we're very close to the hidden temple of Ilmatar in the Podol Plaza neighborhood (good both for healing spells we don't know yet - like Remove Curse - and for selling off loot from the Cadorna family treasure (to pay for said healing, of course) far from Councilman Cadorna).
The bad news is that the undead aren't the only kind of random encounters which can cause us a world of hurt here. Our party runs into humongous poisonous scorpions several times - ouch! (Raise Dead would have a -1 CON side effect; I wonder if the temple has Neutralize Poison, though?).
