Let's Play Quest for Glory II VGA #03: Exploring Shapeir
147In a departure from the first game, we have a time limit looming over our heads. Those that seek to threaten Shapeir aren't going to wait around forever until we can deal with them, though there's no need to panic. We're given more than enough time to make the preparations we need and so can afford to spend most, if not all, of the first day getting to know the city and those that call it home.
Every important we meet will be noted down on the map when we eventually get it, allowing us to more easily reach them at a later date. The city has an apothecary, blacksmith and magic store as well as numerous other more minor merchants who are no less important. There's also a couple of important NPCs that we'll want to become friends with if we are to have any chance of saving this land, but all in due time.
For now, let's bumble about and see who we happen to stumble across en route to the moneychanger.
