Let's Play Return of the Obra Dinn #13 (FINALE): A Spot of Tea and Tempestuous Truth

Only a few fates remain unconfirmed, but there are two things that linger in the back of my mind: the locked lazarette and that one chapter whose contents I do not have access to just yet. Whose fates are locked behind that door? What final piece of the puzzle in the doomed voyage of the Obra Dinn is within that secluded corner of the vessel? The doctor has promised to reveal it to us, so long as we uphold our end of the bargain and return to him and correctly figure everythign else out.
Let us don our investigative gloves one last time before the storm takes the vessel with it.
Obra Dinn was an experience like no other. An grim investigation where all the clues are hidden in plain sight, it was a joy to both see the story unfold and piece together what happened to the vessel and those aboard it. I did some guessing, some more wild than others, but those moments where everything clicked together and I deduced something are moments that I both cherish an can never be truly repeated. The graphical style was striking, the ambience amazing and the voice cast did a fantastic job. All in all, it was an utterly brilliant experience that I'm so glad you suggested I play. It may be a good few years before I can properly return to this game, but I have no doubt that one day I shall.
As for what's next, I'll be playing the game that got second place in the communtiy shortlisted vote, Quest for Glory 2 VGA! It's another game I've not played before and while it will likely have just as many supernatural goings on, it will also have Derek throwing many rocks and climbing all the trees. Who knows, I might even engage in some heroics too while I'm at it!
