123Shapeir is an oasis of both life and peace in the harsh desert. The former comes from the magical fountain that sustains the city while the latter comes from the walls and the soldiers who fight to protect the people of the land. So long as you remain within the city limits you will never be attacked, but what sort of adventurer would we be if we played it safe?
Once you move out of sight of the guard at the gate, you have the chance of being accosted by a variety of foes. Which ones you'll face depend on whether it's day or night and none of the opponents should be taken lightly; even a hero such as ourselves can be bested by those with more familiarity of the terrain and the guile to outsmart us. Then there's the deadliest of foes that can be found on matter the hour, the scropion. Capable of killing you with a single wound from its tail, those with even a small amount of doubt as to their skills are advised to flee from it the moment they can.
There is no honour lost in knowing when they have met your match.
